Shillong, Oct 29: The Shillong Cricket Association will conduct training-cum-open trials for male players at Polo Ground on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday is for senior players, with Sunday reserved for those in the U-23 category. Players are requested to report at the ground by 8AM for registration and verification, along with their age proof and Meghalaya domicile certificate (originals) and their own kit, where applicable.
Covid-19 protocols will be in place for the training/trials, including the need to maintain social distancing, wearing masks and proper hand sanitisation. Sharing of cricket kit will not be permitted. Using saliva on the ball is similarly prohibited, SCA General Secretary Amit Singhania said in a press release today.
Other protocols will be intimated during the sessions.
