Shillong, Aug 28: The girls’ team of NEIGRIHMS, comprising MBBS students, won the champions’ trophy in table tennis at an inter-college tournament held at NEHU last week.
According to a press release issued yesterday, Dr DM Thappa, the NEIGRIHMS director, expressed his satisfaction on the extracurricular activities undertaken by the students and remarked that despite pursuing a tough curriculum, NEIGRIHMS students have shone in these activities and the institute is proud of them.
St Anthony’s won the men’s table tennis event along with men’s and women’s badminton, while NEHU won the chess tournament.
