Shillong, Apr 23: Langsning are expected to sign 11 senior and U-18 players in the local transfer window, a source informed TSR yesterday.
The reigning Shillong Premier League champions had to look for replacements after Ryntih poached seven of their players in March and conducted trials in Shillong earlier this month.
Langsning were on the lookout mainly for defenders, but needed replacements in all areas after Ryntih snapped up Brolington Warlarpih, Milancy Khongstia, Restom Khriam, Dibinroy Nongspung, Ebormi Buam, Fullmoon Mukhim – six players who were part of the core team that won the last two editions of the SPL – and second choice goalkeeper Eric Nongkhlaw.
The players heading to Langsning are Evan Robert Syiemlieh (Rising FC), Pynbhalang Suting (Rising FC), Ksankupar Khongmalai (Rangdajied United), Fedrick Wahlang (Rangdajied United), Preciousland Kharbhih (Sawmer), Mackdonald Kharlyngdoh (Wahingdoh), James Jesper Suting (Nangkiew Irat), Ryngkat Yanni Ryngksai (Laban), Pynkhraw Kupar Kharbuli (Lawmali), Meban Mylliemngap (Lawmali) and Rikmenlang Nongrum (Laitlyngkot).
