Shillong, Jul 10: Ten boys from East and West Jaintia Hills have been selected to enroll in Boca Juniors Football School in Bangalore, North East Indian Goal has informed.
Junior football trials were conducted in April, organised by NEIG and BJFS, for which nearly 3,000 boys turned out for. Ten were then selected to receive football training and full educational scholarships.
The selected boys are Besterly Ksih, Chemi Suchiang, Daniel Chullet, Grafanberg Poit, Iaishah Bareh, Ferdison Bareh, Elvis Nongtdu, Pynjailang Ryngkhlem, Hamedamanbha Thma and Hubert James Lyngdoh.
In the press release NEIG CEO Ajoymeson Lyngdoh also said that NEIG will soon launch a football academy in Jowai for which there will be no fees for those selected to join. Lyngdoh also expressed his thanks to cabinet minister and NEIG Director Kyrmen Shylla for his continuous support.
