Shillong, Jul 26: Meghalaya Police and Mawkhar played out a 1-1 draw in their First Division match at the JN Stadium here today.
Chesterfield Nongdhar (28′) put the police ahead in under half an hour, but Restorewell Marbaniang lived up to his name and restored parity between the two teams by scoring in the 41st minute for Mawkhar.
MLP and Mawkhar have experienced all possible results in their opening three games, winning one, losing one and drawing one and they both have four points each.
