Shillong, Aug 28: Nongthymmai ended their Group A campaign in the Second Division with a 2-0 victory over Lumshyiap at Third Ground, Polo, today.
RJ Nongbet (50′) and S Nongbsap (59′) were the scorers today.
Nongthymmai are thus confirmed to finish at the top of the group, having four points more than second-placed Umphyrnai, who have a game to go.
Tomorrow, in Group B, Mylliem are scheduled to face Nongumlong at 3:15PM.
