Shillong, Oct 12: Niaw Wasa beat Solid Target 1-0 in Kynshi Bangla SCSC’s 2nd Football Knockout Tournament yesterday.
Simion Suchiang scored the lone goal in the 88th minute for Niaw Wasa.
However, it was the efforts of Solid Target goalkeeper Banshanlang Kharsyntiew (pictured above) that were adjudged to have been worthy of the man-of-the-match award as he saved numerous attempts by Niaw Wasa.
