Shillong, Jun 20: Meghalaya recovered from their heavy defeat to Bihar on Saturday to register a 3-0 victory over Madhya Pradesh in Group C of the Junior Girls National Football Championship in Guwahati today.
The goals today were scored by Ridalin Suting (10′), Makrisha Songthiang (64′) and Da-ai-jingsuk Basaiawmoit (84′).
This was Songthiang’s second goal of the tournament after having scored against Bihar as well.
Meghalaya will next take on Telangana on 24th June.
