Shillong, Aug 25: Madan SCC and Iatyllilang SC both won their respective Group A matches in the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division by 2-1 margins yesterday.
The similarities didn’t end there, however, as both teams also have to fight from a goal down to claim victory at Third Ground, Polo.
In the first game, Laitlulong SC took the lead through Wellistar Nongbri (42’) before Madan SCC came right back via a quick brace from Imanbha Marbaniang (45’, 47’).
Later, Heraldo Kyrsian (27’) gave Mawlynrei SC the lead but Melawantei Kharmuti (35’, 35’+4) gave Iatyllilang the win with two goals at the end of the first half of the 70-minute match.
