Shillong, Jan 18: Nongrim Hills SC stormed to a 3-0 victory over Malki SC in the Shillong Sports Association’s First Division 2023 at First Ground, Polo, here today.
The one-sided match saw Benjamin Lanong (10′, 34′) score two goals in the first half with a late one from Alem Khongwir (90’+4) to cap off a terrific afternoon for Nongrim Hills.
Nongrim had won their opening fixture of the season against Umphyrnai SC, so they now have 6 points from two games, which puts them tied with Laitkor SC.
The next match will be against Umphyrnai and Mawkhar SC on Saturday at 2:15PM.
