Shillong, Aug 1: Karatekas from the All Meghalaya Karate-Do Association have brought further honour to the state by clinching 5 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals at the 8th International Karate Championship – Indian Challenger Cup 2024 in Kolkata.

The tournament ran from 26th to 28th July, with AMKA releasing the results today.

Twenty-two AMKA karatekas took part in the three-day championship, led by Ester Mary Lyngdoh and Pynhunlang Kharbuli.
