Shillong, Aug 2: Narwan SC (pictured top) and Suchen Lumiarain SC (below) won their respective quarterfinals yesterday in the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Third Division 2025 and, as a result, also secured promotion to next season’s Second Division.
Deibormi Sumer (71′) scored Narwan’s solitary goal as they beat Umrasiang United SC in the first quarterfinal.
The second quarterfinal was goalless between Suchen Lumiarain and Youngstar SSC Huroi and the former came through the penalty shootout as 3-2 winners.
