Shillong, Jun 3: Mawpdang smashed Laitlulong 7-1 in Group B of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division 2026 here today.
Thynroit, also in Group B, pipped Don Bosco Academy 1-0 while Weilyngkut Area FCC defeated Nongthymmai Raidnongkynrih 3-0 in Group C.
At the SSA Stadium, Mawpdang took the lead in the second minute through an own goal and then their own players Marbiang Kharbhih (9′), Samborlang Langte (14′), Jonathan Kharbani (15′), Eamonlang Rymbai (74′), Chesterfield Umsong (40’+2) and Rafealnando Langstieh (80’+3) scored a goal each.
Matches in the Fourth Division are of 80 minutes’ duration. Laitlulong’s only goal was by Freadynial Warjri (70′).
Earlier, Ishanborlang Kurkalang (46′) found the back of the net for Thynroit, also at the SSA Stadium.
At the MFA Ground, Weilyngkut scored thanks to Kaliwan Roin (10′), Sengrak Jana (46′) and Robert Nongsiej (70′).
