Shillong, Jun 23: Lummawbah won an entertaining Group B match of the Shillong Sports Association’s Third Division 2026 4-2 against Lawmali Pyllun here today.
The other match, also in Group B, was goalless between Kharang and Umphyrnai.
Adelbor K Sun (3′) and Flerando Sohkhlet (13′) scored early for Lummawbah but Melford E Wanniang (16′) replied with a goal for Lawmali Pyllun soon after to keep things interesting in the 80-minute match.
Teilang Ryntathiang (45′, 60′) scored the first of his two goals today early in the second half before adding another on the hour mark. Once again, Lawmali responded with a goal of their own, this time through Mebanteilang Marbaniang (76′) but there wasn’t enough time for a comeback.
