Shillong, Jul 10: Rynjah held off Nongumlong for a 2-1 win in Group A of the Shillong Sports Association’s Third Division 2026’s Relegation Zone at the SSA Stadium here today.
Albert Suting struck first for Rynjah in the 17th minute only for Damanbha Khyriem (21′) to cancel that out four minutes later.
Stephan Kharmylliem (41′), however, nudged Rynjah into the lead again early in the second half and his team held that narrow advantage to the final whistle. Matches in the Third Division are of 80 minutes’ duration.
