Shillong, Jul 14: The East and North East Zone Judges Seminar/Workshop, organised by the Archery Association of India (AAI) and hosted by the Archery Association of Meghalaya (AAM) in collaboration with Meghalaya’s Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, began here.

The course is being held at the ICSSR facility on the NEHU Shillong campus.

Today saw the programme inaugurated by Sports & Youth Affairs Minister Wailadmiki Shylla as chief guest. Rupesh Kar, an international judge, is the resource person deputed by the AAI and he was also present along with members of AAM.

This seminar is the first of its kind being held in Meghalaya and 42 judges from eight states are taking part. The course will conclude on 16th July.
