Shillong, Aug 21: Sohiong ended their losing streak by defeating Jongksha 1-0 in Group C of the Shillong Sports Association’s Second Division 2026 here today.
Keystar Malngiang scored the only goal of the game in the 88th minute at the SSA Stadium. Sohiong’s winless run may have ended but Jongksha’s continued – they have now lost three games in a row and are bottom of the group.
Over at the MFA Ground, Umrynjah and Tynring played out a 1-1 draw, also in Group C.
Tynring seized the lead through Rahbor Baino (8′) but Umrynjah equalised in the second half via Wanboklang Nongbri (55′).
