Shillong, Jul 19: Jongksha secured three points in the Second Division with a 3-2 win over Nongumlong in Group B at Third Ground, Polo, today.
There seems to be some confusion about who scored what goal when according to the Shillong Sports Association report but I Mukhim and A Rynjah put Jongksha into a 2-0 lead in the first four minutes before Nongumlong fought back with two goals of their own. However, there was a second goal from Mukhim that made sure that Jongksha bagged three full points.
Tomorrow, in Group A, Sohryngkham are scheduled to face Nongthymmai at 3:45PM.
