Shillong, Jul 21: A two-day Premier Skills community coaching programme was held at Mawlai Madan Heh on 19th and 20th July in which 19 participants received training.
The programme was coordinated by FC Goa for the club’s local partners – Mawkhar SC, Mawlai SC and Wahingdoh SC – and OnSides.
Premier Skills is an international partnership between the British Council and English Premier League. It aims to provide opportunities for coaches, referees and player to become better integrated into their local communities, to develop their skills for employability and raise their self-esteem.
The Shillong programme was conducted by Nathaniel Da Costa and Avinash Kharel, a press release from Mawkhar SC stated today.
Thirteen men and six women attended the event. The participants were Johnny John Lyngdoh, Pynkmenlang Marbaniang, Mihban Mashli, Pynshailang Kharduid, Baiahunlang Nongbet, Nangsan Tariang, Nylla Meri Wahlang, Mebarin Lyngdoh, Dromlan Marngar, Wandashisha Khyriem, Counsellor S Marwein, Aristotle Pohshna, Nangiaikara Swer, Damiki Tariang, Nangteiskhem D Nongrum, Baniengskhem D Nongrum, Raynold Lyngdoh, Nicky Nongrang, Alex ML Shullai.
