Shillong, Jun 4: Pynnehbor Mylliemngap (right) and Blaseibok Kharbuli (left) won a bronze medal each for India at the IFMA Senior Muay Thai Championship 2022, which was held in Abu Dhabi from 26th May to 4th June.
Mylliemngap and Kharbuli, both from Smit, earned their medals in the Senior Male Elite -48kg and U-23 Male -48kg categories respectively.
Another Meghalayan, Skhemborlang Marwein, was also part of the Indian team and he finished fifth in the U-23 Male -51kg category.
The three state martial artists were accompanied by two officials – Pynsuklang Sumer and Angelus Sun. There were 19 fighters in the Indian team in total.
