Shillong, Sep 1: Mawlynrei SC defeated Diliengiem YSCWA 1-0 in Group A of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division at Third Ground, Polo, here today.
Justin Marboh scored the only goal of the game in the 44th minute to give Mawlynrei their third win in four games.
There are now three teams in the group on 9 points each – Mawlynrei, Umrynjah SC and Madan SCC, though the latter two have a game in hand.
On the other hand, this was Diliengiem’s second defeat in four outings and they remain on 4 points thanks to one win and one draw.
