Shillong, Jul 29: For the fifth time in eight games, a Group A match of the Shillong Sports Association’s Third Division 2025 ended in a draw today, with Nongumlong versus Sanmer finishing 0-0 at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here.
However, a protest was filed – by which team and why we don’t know – so the final result is not yet confirmed.
If it stands, this will also be Sanmer’s third straight draw of the season, while it will be Nongumlong’s first.
With a draw, Nongumlong move to 4 points, though they remain in third place, while Sanmer move up from the bottom of the table to fourth place with 3 points. Madanrting (2 points) drop to fifth place but have a game in hand over both teams.
