Shillong, Feb 28: Royal CC absolutely trounced Langsning CC in Group A of the Shillong Cricket League Super Division 2026, organised by the Shillong Cricket Association, in Polo today, winning by 147 runs.
Royal CC didn’t make the biggest total this season, as they were all out for 179 in 38.2 overs after electing to bat first. Swastic Chettri produced 50 from 75 balls and Rajesh Tati 41 from 27. Bamanbha Shangpliang (3/22 in 8.2 overs) and Prince Ray (2/32 in 9) were the most successful Langsning bowlers.
The chase was absolutely disastrous, with Langsning rumbled for just 32 in 18.2 overs. Aaron AR Nongrum’s 10 was the highest score. Reshabh Dipak bagged 4/15 in 9 overs and was named Player of the Match for his important role in Langsning’s destruction. Bipin Ray, meanwhile, took 2/2 in 3 overs.
