Shillong, Jul 14: Lapalang were a goal down but overturned this to win 4-2 against Lummawbah in the Shillong Sports Association’s Third Division 2026’s Super 8 Group B at the SSA Stadium here today.
Lummawbah took the lead through a 28th minute own goal conceded by their opponents but Lapalang managed to claw their way back in the second half of the 80-minute match.
Caldin Syiemiong (46′, 76′), Lenginthang Chongloi (55′) and Boylanson Shangpliang (80’+5) scored for Lapalang. The second Lummawbah goal was by Fernando Sohkhlet in the 72nd minute.
