Shillong, Apr 22: Shillong Lajong came from a goal down to beat NorthEast United 3-1 in the Junior League’s Shillong-Guwahati Zone at Third Ground here today.
Narayan Rabha scored NEUFC’s first goal of their campaign in the 30th minute, but the hosts responded with three second half goals, scored by Sangti Janai Shianglong (74′, 86′) and substitute Batskhemlang Jyrwa (80′).
NorthEast United ended the match with 10 players on the pitch after Sanjay Rabha picked up a second yellow card in the 75th minute.
Unbeaten after four games, Lajong are at the top of the zonal table with 10 points.
They will next play Gauhati Town Club away on 28th April at 2PM.
