Shillong, Jun 29: Nongkrem moved above Ryntih in the U-18 Shillong Premier League with a 2-1 win at Third Ground, Polo, today.
Bankitlang Mylliemngap put Nongkrem ahead in the 19th minute and his team mate and super substitute Mecofarlius Warshong doubled the lead in the 84th.
Nongkrem, however, were unable to keep a clean sheet (which would’ve been their first of the season) as Ryntih’s Ryngkat Dohtdong headed in a corner kick in stoppage time.
Nongkrem now have nine points from as many matches, while Ryntih have seven from 10.
On Monday Nongrim Hills are scheduled to take on Shillong Lajong at 1PM, while Marbisu are scheduled to face Rangdajied United at 3:45PM. Both games will take place at Third Ground.
