Shillong, Jun 13: Mawlyndep A won the A Division of the Sohryngkham Football Premier League 2021-22 by beating Mawutieng A 7-6 in a riveting tiebreaker recently.
In the B Division, Sohryngkhamneng B defeated Mawutieng B 2-0.
There was also a friendly women’s match in between, with a team from Sohryngkham edging one from Ri-Bhoi 1-0.
The chief guest on the occasion of the final day was Mawryngkneng MLA Pyniaid Sing Syiem.
The league was organised by the Maw-U-Tieng Sports & Cultural Club.
