Shillong, Oct 4: Meghalaya smashed their way to a 6-0 victory against hosts Rajasthan in their second Group B match of the Junior Girls’ National Football Championship (Tier 2) today in Jaipur.

Eightfulnes Shangdiar (37′, 45’+3) scored twice in the first half but it rained goals after an hour’s play with further strikes by Meghalaya’s Dakani Shylla (63′), Eiladki Ksoo (67′, 71′) and Alisha Lyngdoh (73′).

Meghalaya’s next match will be against Jammu & Kashmir on Friday.

Meghalaya are now tied with Uttar Pradesh after two rounds of action, both with 6 points each.
