Shillong, Jul 26: Yesterday was the fifth day of the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Second Division 2025 in Khliehriat.
In the first match, Umlyngsha Youth SSC celebrated a 3-0 victory against Wapung Shnong SSC in Pool E. Seibor Syrti (52′), Kamni Rupsi (58′) and Daplin Lamare (74′) were the scorers.
In Pool F, Tuberkmaishnong SSC trounced Moopynien SCSO 5-1 in the second match, led by a hat-trick from Samewanki Ryngkhlem (12′, 72′, 81′). Arnes Ryngkhlem (32′) and Coming Dkhar (72′) were the other scorers for Tuberkmaishnong, while Moopynien found the back of the net once through Aron Rymbai (34′).
The last match of the day, in Pool G, saw Khliehriat East YWSC score a 3-1 win over Lumshken SC. Kobar S Swer (19′), Silvester Shylla (37′) and Remitre Lyngdoh (73′) produced goals for the winners, while Yoowest Khaii (57′) netted once for Lumshken.
