Shillong, Aug 31: Victor Shadap scored four goals on the way to Laban’s 5-0 victory over Sohryngkham in the First Division at the JN Stadium here today.
Shadap scored twice in each half while Lansing Kharumnuid also scored off a nice Bickyson Kharkongor cross in the second half.
This was the most one-sided result in the season so far and takes Laban to eight points, second behind leaders Imson, who have 12. However, Laban have played an extra match over Rising FC, Marbisu and Nongrim Hills, who all have seven points.
Sohryngkham are at the bottom of the table with a solitary point, the same as Wahingdoh, but the latter have a better (or slightly less worse) goal difference.
In tomorrow’s Shillong Premier League match Malki will take on Sawmer at 3:45PM.
