Shillong, Oct 18: Meghalaya lost to Tamil Nadu (TN) by nine wickets in the Women’s U-19 T20 League in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, today.
TN won the toss and chose to field first, bowling out Meghalaya for just 25 in 11.5 overs.
In the chase Deiphibapynshngain L Mawnai provided a spark for Meghalaya with their only wicket as TN reached 26/1 in 5.3 overs. Mawnai bowled three overs and conceded just seven runs for her wicket. She bowled 13 dot balls in that short spell. Mawnai now has four wickets to her name from this tournament.
Meghalaya will next face Hyderabad on Saturday.
