Shillong, Jul 3: The Meghalaya Football Association will open applications for schools, communities, clubs and academies to take part in the Shillong zone of the Meghalaya Baby League 2019 from tomorrow.
Applications will close on Monday, 8th July, the MFA said in a press release today. Interested parties may visit the office of the MFA, in the JN Stadium from 1PM to 5PM (excluding Sunday) or email meghalaya.fa@gmail.com to seek further information regarding the criteria that will have to be met by participating teams.
There are openings for 12 teams in the Shillong zone, with the application process for other zones to be opened at a later date, which will be informed by the MFA.
First rights of refusal for applications will rest with the teams that took part in the Meghalaya Baby League 2018 and secondary preference will be given to community and school teams.
