This session follows two earlier meetings held on 21st May and 29th May with eight and 10 associations respectively. With today’s consultations, a total of 26 associations – archery, arm wrestling, athletics, swimming, canoeing and kayaking, badminton, basketball, boxing, cycling, football, gymnastics, judo, karate, kho-kho, lawn bowls, muay thai, rowing, shooting, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, volleyball, weightlifting, wrestling, wushu and yogasana have now engaged directly with the relevant committees.

In addition to individual team plans, discussions also touched upon the development of a structured benchmarking framework based on specific sports to supervise and monitor the selections/trials, reporting capacities and performances of athletes being trained for the Games.

Participating associations presented their sport-specific strategies and requirements, which will now be further analysed by the state government and relevant authorities to ensure timely and coordinated execution.
