Shillong, Oct 3: Wahiajer Narpuh SSC completed the semifinal lineup of the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s First Division 2025 by defeating Bataw YWSC 2-0 in the fourth quarterfinal at the Diengshynrum Ground in Khliehriat yesterday.
Both goals came in the second half, with Den Mukhim (50′) providing the first and Santosh Teron (61′) the second.
Wahiajer Narpuh won all of their Pool D matches to qualify for the quarterfinals, while Bataw were second in Pool B.
The semifinals will begin on Monday with Byndihati CSC facing Musniang SC. Byndihati have won two and drawn two games, while Musniang have won four out of four.
Rymbai Synrangshahkhain SC will then take on Wahiajer Narpuh in the second semifinal the next day. Like Wahiajer Narpuh, R Synrangshahkhain have won all of their matches thus far.
Both semifinals will kick off at 2PM at the Diengshynrum Ground.
