Shillong, Nov 8: Arpit Bhatewara and Kishan Lyngdoh (pictured left and right) had another phenomenal day with the bat with 300-plus runs between them in Meghalaya’s Ranji Trophy 2025-26 plate group match against Arunachal Pradesh in Surat today.

At stumps on the first day, Arpit, who batted throughout, was 203 not out while Kishan was unbeaten on 118. They have so far amassed 288 for the third wicket.

Meghalaya won the toss and batted first and were 386/2 at the close. Guest player Ajay Duhan also made a rapid 53 from 50 deliveries at No. 3.

Incidentally Arpit had also struck exactly 200 against Sikkim at home last month, with Kishan having made a hundred in the same match.

Today Arpit faced 261 balls with 22 fours and four sixes. Kishan, meanwhile, hit 14 fours and one six in 185 deliveries.
