Langsning’s 2nd Div fixtures released

Shillong, Feb 25: Langsning will play their first Second Division Group C match on 14th March at home versus Chennaiyin FC (reserves) here.

The fixtures were shared with TSR this evening. The group stage has been advanced by two days; previously the All India Football Federation stated that it would begin on 16th March.

Langsning have been grouped with TRAU FC of Manipur, Mohammedan Sporting and the reserve sides of Indian Super League (ISL) teams Bengaluru FC, Jamshedpur FC and Chennaiyin FC.

The winners of each group and the best second-placed team will qualify for the final round. However, if any of the ISL reserve teams finish as winners or runners-up, qualification will pass to the next best non-ISL team.

Kick-off times and the grounds have not been announced, though Langsning will probably play their home games at the JN Stadium or Shillong Sports Association Stadium.
